MEISTER DER TYPOGRAFIE: MALCOLM GARRETT
Meister der Typografie is a conceptual booklet series about contemporary designers and their contribution to typography. For this edition, the feature was Malcolm Garrett: a British graphic designer most known for his work for musicians such as Buzzcocks and Duran Duran. The criteria of this booklet mandates a biography, an associated typeface, and a featured interview to help illustrate the designer's personality.
Below are spread overviews of the project. Throughout the pages, I've implemented simple shapes and triadic colour schemes meant to echo the design choices of his career, especially those seen from his vinyl sleeve work during the late 70's.
